Pokhara Youth Hostel

The staff at this hostel were incredibly helpful and friendly! They went above and beyond to assist us in arranging tours and even adjusted our itinerary when we got sick, without charging us extra. The location of the hostel is fantastic, right on the main strip with a beautiful view of the lake and even the Machhapuchchhre peak on clear days. Additionally, we loved the fact that we could use the kitchen to prepare meals for our family, especially when traveling with children.

There were a few minor drawbacks during our stay. The pillows were a bit hard, and the 4-bed room was slightly small for our bags.

This hostel exceeded our expectations. the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, especially for our baby. the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. the breakfast offered was delicious and there were plenty of options. the common space provided a relaxing atmosphere for us to unwind. the location was convenient, with shops and restaurants nearby.

Staff was attentive, making my stay comfortable. Great location with easy access to the lakeside. The rooftop offered a beautiful view. Clean rooms and bathroom with hot water. Good value for the price.

Nothing to dislike.

I chose Youth Hostel because of its proximity to the Phewa Tal. The fact that Free WiFi was offered throughout the property was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed having a drink at the bar/lounge.

The staff, especially Naran, were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The location was perfect for our family as we could easily walk to the lake and explore the surrounding areas. The breakfast provided was hearty and exceeded our expectations. The beds were comfortable, the facilities were always clean, and the hostel had a nice and welcoming atmosphere. We were also impressed with the ongoing improvements being made to the building, including the beautiful murals and patios. The value for money was exceptional, and we will definitely be returning on our next visit to Pokhara!

For families with children, it would be great to have a designated play area or activities specifically catered towards them.

The location of the hostel is ideal, with Phewa Lake just a few minutes' walk away. Guests can enjoy the convenience of having bars, restaurants, and tour agencies in close proximity. the staff is also highly accommodating, providing assistance with organizing tours and offering helpful recommendations for places to visit.

The lockers in the dorm rooms can be a bit noisy and heavy, making it inconvenient to access them without disturbing other sleeping guests.

I loved the location - it was within walking distance of the Greenline bus dropoff and a minute away from the lake. The staff was fantastic and always ready to help with any questions. The same day laundry service was convenient and affordable. The hostel had a homely vibe and I enjoyed hanging out with the staff. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were big with curtains on the lower bunks. The whole property was clean and tidy.

We were really surprised by the excellent location of the hostel, as it was within walking distance of the Greenline bus drop-off point.
